Trauma Therapy That Fits Your Life in Davis

Davis moves at a gentler pace than most places, but many people here are stretched between residencies, classes, research, and work. When your schedule is full, taking care of yourself is often the first thing to slip. Online therapy sessions take travel out of the equation, so it's easier to protect the hour and your peace. You can meet from home or any quiet, private space, and we'll build a rhythm that holds up through your busiest stretches.

I'm Jessica Mariglio, a licensed marriage and family therapist, Certified EMDR Therapist, and Somatic Experiencing practitioner. I work with adults in Davis, Woodland, West Sacramento, Dixon, Winters, and across California. I live in Davis myself!

Who This Work Is For

Many people I work with carry demanding lives, whether in research, teaching, medicine, caregiving, or work that depends on being the capable one. You may understand your patterns well and have done a lot of inner work already, yet something deeper still feels unresolved. That's often where this work begins.

How I Help

I focus on trauma, complex PTSD, anxiety, and the lasting effects of childhood experiences. Depending on what you need, our work may include EMDR therapy to reprocess painful memories, Somatic Experiencing to work gently with your nervous system, and mindfulness-based therapy to build steadiness and presence. You don't need to recount every detail for the work to be effective.

Getting Started

We begin with a free 15-minute phone conversation. Ask anything, and notice how it feels to talk with me. If we're not a good fit, I'll help you find someone who is.

Fees and Insurance

My fee is $250 per session, with a limited number of sliding-scale spots. I'm out of network and provide superbills you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

A Few Questions

I'm a student, postdoc, or early in my career. Is this realistic for me?
It might be. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, a superbill can offset some of the cost. If cost is a barrier, ask me about sliding-scale availability.

Can EMDR really be done online?
Yes, and many people find it works well. I wrote about the research here.

Do you have an office in Davis?
Not currently. All sessions are online. I see adults who are physically located in California during the session.
